Comments: This is a mounted leg from an adult horse of the Miocene! The specimen has a small amount of restoration on both of the thin split bones, otherwise this specimen is all natural. It measures approx. 8 7/8" tall without the stand included. Parahippus leonensis sp. was an extinct Three-Toed Horse that was about the size of a medium dog and a relative of the modern horse. Estimated to have had an average lifespan of 9 years and weighing in at 160lbs. (72.5kg). It dates back 20 Million Years ago, and is from the early Miocene of Florida.
