Comments: This is a KILLER TOOTH from a VERY LARGE MASTODON, measuring approx. 6 3/4" long x 7 1/2" tall. This incredible specimen also has a virtually complete Root System which you almost NEVER see with Mastodon Teeth! RARE, RARE, RARE!!! This tooth is VERY SOLID and HEAVILY MINERALIZED. There has been a TINY amount of restoration done on the edge of a tooth and on a couple of the root segments.. but again.. a TINY amount only mentioned for accuracy.
