Glyptolepis

Glyptolepis was a type of Coelacanth.  These teeth come from the Devonian (345 Million Years Old) of Russia.  The teeth are all preserved in a soft mudstone and retain excellent enamel.  Some of the teeth have been removed from the matrix ,cleaned and replaced from where they came. They are NOT composites,  as a couple of the matrix pieces clearly have other fossiliferous debris and teeth within them.
