Very solid and mineralized claw.. excellent specimen!  This was from a BIG Ground Sloth.. measures 5 1/2" long in a straight line measurement.. NOT along the curve.  EXCELLENT Claw...

The epiphysis reveals that this is a young adult with the proximal articulation surface as yet not ossified. Complete, intact, with no restoration nor glue.  This little gem measures 2 7/8" long in a straight-line measurement.

Comments:  This specimen was found along with #11 listed above, presumably from the SAME animal.  The epiphysis on this specimen has not ossified on the proximal articulation surface as well... There has been no restoration on this specimen also... this claw measures 4 1/2" long in a straight-line measurement.
