Comments: This is a nice, mostly complete upper section of a Smilodon Rib.  When you look at a Smilodon Rib Cage you will see that there is an upper rib that meets the vertebrae and wraps down the side of the animal.. then another rib section connects and articulates with that rib before it wraps around the abdomen to connect to the sternum.  This specimen measures approx.  6" long.
