Comments: This is a very unusual find.. it is a fossilized brain! Okay.. the brain case from the skull of this unidentified animal filled with minerals during or after the decaying process of the brain and was subsequently fossilized. The size of the brain indicates that it most likely would have come from an Oreodont or Saber-Cat sized animal. When was the last time you found a fossil brain for sale??? This specimen was surface collected and was not found with any other remains which would help identify it's source..Oligocene Brain 1 - $250.00
