Comments: Very nice specimen that was found in River Terrace Deposits near Bonner Springs, Kansas. This particular species is still alive and well today... but these skulls are found in association with many EXTINCT species as well. Excellent preservation. Like virtually all Holocene/Pleistocene fossils, these skulls are not old enough to have fully agatized.
