Name: Archaeotherium ingens
Geologic Age: Oligocene
Stratigraphic detail: Brule Formation, White River Badlands Group
Location: Niobrara County, Wyoming
Comments: This is a very cool PIG SNOUT from the giant pig - Archaeotherium. This specimen measures approx. 12 1/2" long. The fangs measure approx. 2 7/8" long! There have been some crack repairs and just tiny bit of restoration here and there.. probably around 2-3%. Very nice, showy specimen. If you can't afford $5,000 - $7,500 for a complete skull.. this is the next best thing!Archaeotherium Snout 1 - $750.00
