Name:  Alligator Mandible
Geologic Age: Pleistocene (10,000 - 2,000,000 years old)
Location: Taylor County, Florida
Comments: This is a gorgeous mandible from an ice-age alligator.  It measures approx. 21 1/2" long.  There are 21 teeth present in the jaw.  Some of the teeth were placed back into the jaw since they had fallen out.  There has been no restoration on the jaw.  Very well mineralized.  It sits on top of a custom-made Mexican Rosewood Stand.  Excellent eye appeal!
