Name: Homotelus bromidensis
Geologic Age: Ordovician
Stratigraphic detail: Bromide Formation
Location: Rock Crossing, Ardmore, Oklahoma

Comments:
This specimen was originally collected by Lowell Loudon and sat unprepared for decades until part of his collection was acquired and prepared.  I was lucky enough to purchase this, and 3 other trilobite mass mortality plates from that collection!  The material that these trilobites is found is extremely hard and requires hours and hours of prep to expose the specimens.  This plate measures approx. 2.75" x 4" x 2.5" thick and has several trilobites present.. what's cool is that many of these specimens were upside down and were prepared as such, exposing the hypostome!

Loudon Homotelus Trilobite Plate 1- $500.00
