These trilobites from the Rochester Shale are found in softer, wet matrix and when the matrix is separated, frequently one of both eyes are left in the counter-part of the matrix and must be prepped free and then reapplied to the bug... Otherwise.. all natural and beautiful!!
These trilobites are getting VERY RARE to find! Where they used to find 300 - 400 per year in the quarry.. they have ONLY FOUND 14 THIS YEAR!!
