Name: Eldredgeops milleri
Geologic Age: Devonian

Description: This is a very large and nearly perfect example of a classic American species of trilobite. This enrolled trilobite measures 3cm (1.25 inches) across at the free cheeks and measures the same from nose to rolled thorax. Outstretched this trilobite would have measured a massive 6.4cm (2.5 inches)! One detail of this specimen which stands out is that it has been meticulously prepared. The trilobite is not overly glossy meaning it hasn't been burned or hastily prepped. The eyes are absolutely spectacular! Every lens perfectly detailed and carefully prepared. There is a tiny bit of pyrite present that has has been left attached for detail... looks like a tiny moustache! The is a slight separation of the very tip of the free cheek as seen in last photo. It is secure as it was found. Nice opportunity for a rare big Eldredgeops milleri roller! (The specimen is a bit DARKER in color than what it looks in the photos..)
