Geologic Age: Lower Devonian
Stratigraphic detail: Belen Formation
Location: Bolivia
Comments: This is another rare specimen from Bolivia.. the overall length of the nodule is approx. 2.25" long x 1.5" wide. The positive of this specimen was broke in half and glued back together. There have been a couple of crack repairs but no restoration or enhancements. Nice compound eyes!! This species is the ancestor of the most common Eldredgeia venustus. Both are very similar but eocryphaeus has a wider thorax and pygidium. This is the early representative of the Metacryphaeus group.Bolivian Eocrypheus Trilobite - Price $275.00
