The quarry where these came from had been closed, but the owner opened it back up due to demand for these starfish.. that is the good news.. the bad news is that after following the starfish layer for a short distance.. it dipped into a fault and disappeared.. way too deep to quarry.. and the quarry has been closed permanently now.. so these are THE LAST to come from the quarry and it's highly unlikely that they will be found elsewhere. The owner is a good friend and I managed to pick up a nice group of these.. but once they are gone.. they are gone.
