This is a group of 25 extra large fossil Champsosaur vertebrae from the Hell Creek! Champsosaurus is a long-snouted Diaspid, very crocodilian in it's appearance. The verts are in great condition overall, with very few minor imperfections. They are all extremely well preserved & they are all completely natural as found. The largest verts measure a bit over 1 1/4" across, which is huge for these! They were found in upper Cretaceous age deposits, Hell Creek Formation, in Carter County, Montana near Belle Creek.
