This is a
group of  very good quality fossilized reptile vertebrae! They are from the long-snouted aquatic Diapsid, Champsosaurus sp. The verts were all found in the same general area, but are most likely not from the same individual. Each of the verts has excellent detail & they are all very solid & well preserved. They are housed in a 8.25" x 12.25" Riker Mount as shown.

This is a group of 25 extra large fossil Champsosaur vertebrae from the Hell Creek! Champsosaurus is a long-snouted Diaspid, very crocodilian in it's appearance. The verts are in great condition overall, with very few minor imperfections. They are all extremely well preserved & they are all completely natural as found. The largest verts measure a bit over 1 1/4" across, which is huge for these!  They were found in upper Cretaceous age deposits, Hell Creek Formation, in Carter County, Montana near Belle Creek.
