NEW Fossils Just Added:

|
Well.. a little bit of good news with my dad.
They did an MRI of his brain to see if he had any brain cancer, because one
of the chemo drugs they want to use is contraindicated if brain cancer is
present. Well.. thank God that he has NO BRAIN CANCER! That IS
good news... starting tomorrow he will be receiving ALL of the chemotherapy
drugs that they want to give him... this will improve his odds of stopping
the cancer... thanks for all your prayers.. please keep them up though... he
has a long road ahead of him. (hopefully) I'll be gone all day
tomorrow and busy with my father.. have a good weekend. Merv

Well.. we saw the Oncologist today.. long story
short.. dad has lung cancer that has spread to his liver. He actually
received his first Chemotherapy treatment today. The doctor was
wonderful, down to earth and compassionate. The bottom line is that
there is no cure, no other treatment options other than the Chemotherapy,
but if the Chemo stops the cancer.. dad COULD have a few more good years..
if not.. then it's a matter of months... so please.. keep him in your
prayers. Up until this point I have
been open and working 7 days a week. These recent events with my
father have made me realize that life is too short and should be more than
just working, and that I should take some time for myself and my family.
Therefore, I will be closed on Friday afternoon to take dad to his
Chemotherapy treatments, etc.., and I will also be closed on Saturdays &
Sundays to enjoy the weekend with my family and attend Church. I will
be open and working hard Monday through Friday morning. NEW Fossils
will be posted during that time period from now on... Thanks for your
understanding. |

Well.. during testing for his surgery they found
multiple "masses" on my father's liver.. and despite all our hope and
prayers, my father has been diagnosed with malignant Liver Cancer that has
come from "some other" area of his body.. more testing is necessary to
determine where the original cancer is, what stage the cancer is in, and
what treatment options are available... Thanks for all your e-mails of
concern and your prayers... please continue praying for him.... |

My father is in the hospital and probably going to
