Each of these carvings have been created from extinct Mammoth Tusk Sections! The quality of the carvings is astounding... each item was hand carved in high-relief and very three dimensional. The details of each carving are incredible. |

Name: The Great Woolly Mammoth
Description: One of the best stylizations of the Great Woolly Mammoth, which roamed the world thousands of years ago. The figurine shows fine details for hair, eyes and the trunk. Its large hump and relatively small curved tusks tell us that it is a juvenile boy. It measures 3 1/2" long.

Name: Fighting Mammoths
Description: Here is another stylization of mammoths, depicting a fight scene between two adult males. The material shows numerous cracks some of them probably originated when animal was alive used his (he was most likely male) tusks to fight other mammoths. The piece's size is 13" x 5".

Description: Does this carving depicts a family, or a confused baby that is trying to find his daddy?? In either case, the carving has a great quality and detail, with amazing colors of the ivory bark layer. On this carving, the bark is very thick, and the material allowed to carve a deep relief.
