Comments: This is one of the biggest, and best Phareodus that I have ever had. This GIANT FISH measures 22 1/2" long x 7 1/4" tall and lays perfectly centered on the 29 3/4" long x 20" tall unbroken, thick, solid plate of matrix. The bones and teeth on this specimen are gorgeous.. they are well raised above the matrix and of good quality. Both bottom jaws and teeth are present on this specimen with the bottom teeth measuring approx. 1/4" long. There has been NO restoration or repairs on this fish.. it's just as it was prepped. If you are looking for a HUGE, MUSEUM QUALITY fish that happens to be one of the RARE FISH from the Green River Formation.. this is it!!
