United States Fish Teeth

This is a huge group of more than 1000 fossil fish teeth that were collected from the Hell Creek.  This large group represents all the fish teeth that the digger collected in the field by carefully processing fossiliferous matrix, over a number of years. They are from a wide variety of species, including some very rare ones. The teeth are in great condition overall, with most being complete. There are some very large examples of many of the species. They are all very well preserved & they are all completely natural as found. The largest teeth measure approx. 3/8" in length, & they go down in size to great microteeth! They were found in upper Cretaceous age deposits, Hell Creek Formation, in Carter County, Montana near Belle Creek.
