Name: Duck Egg
Geologic Age: Oligocene (25 Million Years Ago)
Stratigraphic detail: White River Group
Location: Crawford, Nebraska
Comments:  These are quite possibly the most RARE FOSSILS that you will ever come across!  (and the most coveted)   These eggs are "Duck Eggs" from the Oligocene of Nebraska.. they were collected decades ago and have been sitting in a private collection until I was able to purchase them recently.  Little is known about these eggs, as they are ULTRA RARE and the gentleman who had been studying them with the Black Hills Institute passed away.   I am only aware of less than 25 specimens.. most of which are buried in Academic Collections..  This is an opportunity that you won't find anyplace else on the web.. TRY and find another for sale anywhere else on the web.. won't happen!!  Nothing has been done to this egg.. it is as found.  They have not been x-ray'd or CT Scanned for embryonic remains.. they are typically filled with quartz-like minerals..

Oligocene Duck Egg 1 Price $1500.00
