Name: Struthiomimus Hand Claw
Geologic Age: Upper Cretaceous
Stratigraphic detail: Hell Creek Formation
Location: Glendive, Montana
Description: Hand Claws from Struthiomimus are very rare.. foot claws are much more "common" than hand claws.. I believe this is due to the fact that the foot claws are typically thicker and more robust, while hand claws are much more slender and fragile which makes sense. That may not be THE reason.. but that's the best guess I can come up with. This is the 4th hand claw specimen that I've had to sell... This is a VERY THICK example.. much bigger than normal!! The very, very tip is missing.. there have been a couple of crack repairs but no restoration..Struthiomimus Hand Claw 1 $1000.00
