Name: Struthiomimus Hand Claw
Geologic Age: Upper Cretaceous
Stratigraphic detail: Hell Creek Formation
Location: Glendive, Montana
Description: Hand Claws from Struthiomimus are very rare.. foot claws are much more "common" than hand claws.. I believe this is due to the fact that the foot claws are typically thicker and more robust, while hand claws are much more slender and fragile which makes sense. That may not be THE reason.. but that's the best guess I can come up with. I have only had 3 hand claws in 11 years of business.. and many more foot claws. This specimen is VERY LARGE measuring in right at 4" long! The very tip of the claw had broken off when found, and has been glued back. There was a crack along one side and a couple of small cracks that has been professionally glued/repaired, otherwise no reconstruction.. an excellent specimen that shouldn't last long!!Struthiomimus Hand Claw 1 $1200.00

Name: Struthiomimus Claw
Geologic Age: Upper Cretaceous
Stratigraphic detail: Lance Creek Formation
Location: Wyoming
Description: Very nice, very sharp foot claw from a juvenile Struthiomimus. This specimen is 100% natural with no repairs or restoration. While it may appear that this claw is slightly distorted to one side, that is not the case. Claws that are on the side of the foot have that slant or slope to them naturally by virtue of their position. This is an excellent claw!!Struthiomimus Claw 2 $425.00
