Name: Sauropod Eggs
Geologic Age: Late Cretaceous
Location: Xixia Basin, Henan Province, China
Comments: While at first glance these eggs appear similar to Hadrosaur Eggs (but are smaller than Hadrosaur Eggs), this egg type differs in shell morphology and has a flatter shape similar to the much smaller Segnosaur eggs which are also found in the same region. Since these are found lower in the formation, and hence eons older, they could be of a different species of Hadrosaur egg, or more likely in my opinion, from a Sauropod because they share a great similarity with Saurpod eggs found in Southern France This is a nice, 100% natural egg clutch that has had no reconstruction done to it. These eggs were prepared here in the United States. This specimen is from my personal collection.

Name: Sauropod Eggs
Geologic Age: Late Cretaceous
Location: Xixia Basin, Henan Province, China
Comments: This is an UNKNOWN SPECIES of Sauropod Egg. The shell texture is very different from Hadrosaur Eggs found in the same region. This specimen was found in MUCH OLDER LAYERS of the formation. The shell is much thinner and the few eggs that were found in this area are PINK in color as opposed to the gray/black eggs that are found higher up in the formation. This specimen was prepped in Canada. This specimen is from my personal collection.
