Name: Montanaraptor
Geologic Age: Late Cretaceous
Stratigraphic detail: Cloverly Formation
Location: Carbon County, Montana
Description: EXTREMELY RARE CLAW!!! This is a gorgeous KILLING CLAW from a little-known species.. there is very little information currently available on this species.. but there is supposed to be a new paper coming out on it this coming year. This specimen is near perfect. The very tip of this claw was found broken off and has been glued back in place. There is a TINY area on the inside curve that had chipped out and filled.. virtually undetectable. This killer specimen measures 1 5/8" long in a straight-line measurement. The surfaces are very smooth and clean. There is a slight discoloration on the top of the claw where it had just started to weather out of the ground. The articulation surfaces are perfect. This is an amazing claw that shouldn't last very long....Montanaraptor Claw 1 Price: $3500.00
