Deinonychus

Deinonychus is a dromaeosaurid theropod. This dromaeosaurid dinosaurs are commonly referred to as raptors. They are distinguished by large sickle-shaped killing claws on the second toe of each hind foot. The latest evidence on this type of dinosaur suggests they were covered with feathers.
