Name: Gryposaurus
Geologic Age: Cretaceous
Stratigraphic detail: Two Medicine Formation
Location: Montana
Description: This is a lower jaw from a Juvenile Gryposaurus Dinosaur.. try and find other material from this species anywhere on the internet!! This specimen was found and has only had some cracks glued/repaired.. no reconstruction. The bone and teeth quality is very good and solid. if you look closely at the teeth you will see what differentiates this species from other hadrosaurids is that this is the only species that has serrated teeth! No other species of hadrosaurids have this type of tooth... This specimen measures approx. 10" long. It seems that some sort of traumatic event had caused a small area of the teeth to be pushed inside the mouth, and that is where they remained during fossilization. Perhaps this is partial evidence of how the animal died?Gryposaurus Jaw 1 Price: $1850.00
