Comments: I have NEVER seen this type of fossil available on the open market, or at any of the fossil shows I've attended.. this is an EXTREMELY RARE FIND!! This is a SHOULDER SPIKE from an Edmontonia, a nodosaurid ankylosaurus. The identification of this specimen was confirmed by the famed paleontologist and ankylosaur expert, Ken Carpenter of the Denver Museum of Natural History. The bone preservation is superb. The shape is superb. The only restoration done was on the last 2" of the tip. That restoration was done by one of the best preparators available, Sandy Gerkin of the White River Prep Lab... This specimen measures approx. 15" long x 9" wide. If you are looking for something RARE.. this is it!!Edmontonia Spike 1 Price $8500.00 SALE PRICE $7500.00
