Name: T-Rex Caudal Vertebrae
Geologic Age:
Cretaceous
Stratigraphic detail:
Hell Creek Formation
Location:
South Dakota
Description:
This is a very nice caudal vertebrae from a partial T-Rex that was found on private, deeded land with the landowners permission.  There have been crack repairs with stabilization and filling, as well as approx. 2% - 5% restoration to various small areas as seen in photos.  The lighter area on the top of the process is where that part of the bone was exposed prior to being found.  This specimen measures approx.  10 1/2" long x  9 1/2" tall x  5 1/2" wide.  There is some slight compression from the tectonic pressures over millions of years, but the shape is very good overall.  The very tips of the processes are missing.. otherwise this is an essentially complete vertebrae from THE KING of Dinosaurs!!

Tyrannosaurus Rex Vertebrae 2 $5500.00
