Description:  This is an exceptional, visually stunning specimen that is a decorator or collector's dream!  This is a display grouping of metatarsals or foot bones from the Jurassic Period Ornithopod, Camptosaurus. The preparator prepped the matrix from around  the foot bones and left them fused together as found at the digsite.  These bones are from the same foot of the Camptosaurus.  The light or whitish coloration in some areas on the bones is gypsum. This was left on the bones to preserve the surface texture and keep the authenticity of the specimen intact.  The prep was limited to matrix removal and crack filling.  This group measures approx.  11" by 7" by 3" overall.

Description:  This is a great-looking specimen - a toe bone from a Camptosaurus.  As you can see, the knuckles or condyles are perfect. A portion of the other/proximal end was restored as the bone was broken when found in the field.

Description:  This is a nice Radius arm bone from a Camptosaurus!   This bone was found complete and required no restoration, only minor crack filling.  This arm bone measures approx. 7.5" long.  Like most dinosaurs, its arms were MUCH shorter than it's legs.
