Comments: While the Dorycrinus is a RARE CRINOID in and of itself, and one of the most sought after Crinoids from Crawfordsville, this particular specimen is an ULTRA RARE CRINOID!!! What makes this one ULTRA RARE is the fact that there is an Onychaster flexilis Starfish attached that had been feeding on the crinoid when it was buried!! There have only been TWO other specimens found with a Starfish attached to a Dorycrinus.. this is the THIRD specimen ever found!! How's THAT for RARE?? This plate stands 6" tall x 5 3/4" wide. Gorgeous plate that the photos do not do justice to!!Dorycrinus Crinoid 2 Price $1500.00
