Location: Trenton Falls, New York
Comments: A very rare New York Conularid, species Metaconularia grandulata. From the famous Trenton Falls, New York comes exceptionally preserved Conularid. Detail is excellent showing many of the vertical and transverse rows. The Conularid measures 3cm long and 2cm wide. There is a lot of glossy black shell material remaining. Also on the plate are pieces of the trilobite Pseudogygites, brachiopods and an impression of another conularid.
