Name: Tragophylloceras
Geologic Age: Jurassic
Stratigraphic detail: Green ammonite beds, Golden Cap Cliff
Location: Lyme Regis, Dorset England
Comments: This Ammonite measures 4.25" across in a beautifully sculpted original matrix measuring 8.75" by 7.5" by 2.5" deep. No restoration or repair of any sort. This was found on the Jurassic coast of Dorset (Charmouth). It is one of  the most beautiful specimens I have had the opportunity to own. An extremely rare species of Ammonite. A stunning display piece! THIS IS A DYING ART DUE TO THE HOURS AND HOURS REQUIRED TO DO THIS TYPE OF PREP WORK!!  This is a 100% natural specimen.
