Genuine Columbian Amber
All the Amber
Specimens on this page are
from the Miocene Period and are from an ancient rainforest environment in Columbia, South America. These Amber
deposits are buried in pre-Andian uplift deposits and are exposed only in
gullies and stream channels which cut through strongly dipping beds. All
of this Amber has been cut and polished. The insect fauna
has been excellently preserved!!
